Plex library not updating

The Problem Not too long ago I setup Sick Beard and SABNzb. It grabs all my tv shows automatically, renames them, puts them in the appropriate folders that Plex Media Server (PMS) is supposed to scan and find changes and auto add the content to my library. After searching through the Plex forums and other places online, I’ve found that the most common answer is to do a deep refresh. From my understanding, it simply scans the folders in your library and checks their modified date.

However, there are times where the scanners may need some help and that's done by naming and organizing the content in an expected way.Thankfully, the Plex Media Server software has multiple ways you can ensure your media list is always current including manual updating and multiple ways to automate the update process.The simplest method is to manually update your library.All i can find on this is that it could be a permissions problem but I am not sure and don't know how to fix this if that is what the problem is.Besides the media itself, the most important element of a media server software is how up to date it is–you can’t watch videos if the server doesn’t know they’re there.

The first step to figuring out the cause would be to turn on Plex's debug mode to see what information it can provide and then post the logs. Also there is a QNAP support forum on Plex's website HERE that is a pretty good source of help/support as well.......................XXXX sake.
